Founder and CEO, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science including a bio-medical specialisation. Combined with 20+ years of software development expertise, he has extensive domain knowledge in Health Informatics that he has successfully incorporated into highly sophisticated medical systems and products. His expert knowledge has also been included by committees developing national HL7 communications standards for the healthcare industry.

Colin’s focus on multi-dimensional technologies lead Global Direction to became an InterSystems Caché partner in 1999. In 2002, Colin initiated the process to become Australia’s first Certified Caché Expert (a designation bestowed on less than 200 specialists worldwide), receiving certification and subsequently qualifying as an Ensemble Implementation Partner in 2005. Colin is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Colin is also a Certified Streetsmart Business Advisor. He has become Streetsmart because he owns several successful businesses that he has learned from. Having paid for both good and bad advice over the years he has inside knowledge of some well known (both good and bad) local identities. Because of his intense training, continuously learning from the best in the world he has developed the ability to help Small Business owners achieve dramatic improvements in their business in as little as 90 days.
